After already breaking the Las Vegas franchise's single-season attendance record, the new Las Vegas Ballpark has been voted as the best MiLB Triple-A Stadium in the Best of the Ballparks contest voted on by fans across the country. The Ballpark defeated Southwest University Park, home of the El Paso Chihuahuas, Triple-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres, to win this year’s Triple-A Best of the Ballparks fan vote.
More than 85,000 fans voted in all five rounds of the Triple-A Best of the Ballparks fan vote, with almost 500,000 fans voting to date in the overall competition. After several close votes in the earlier rounds of the process, the final vote resulted in the Las Vegas Ballpark winning with a 55.6% to 44.4% margin win over El Paso.

In addition to being voted the best MiLB Triple-A Stadium, the Aviators recently broke the Las Vegas franchise attendance record set in 1992 by the former Las Vegas Stars. The team leads Triple-A baseball in total home attendance of 398,771 this season, including 16 games featuring more than 10,000-plus attendees.

The ballpark is also on pace for the highest attendance in the Pacific Coast League since the Sacramento RiverCats drew 672,534 back in 2015. Both teams are/were in their first years as their parent club's affiliate.

Huntington Park, home of the Columbus Clippers of the International League and Triple-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, won the Best of the Ballparks in both the 2017 and 2018 fan voting.
The Aviators (46-37) return to action tonight, at home, against the Reno Aces.
