The Washington Commanders have shifted from merely receiving trade inquiries to actively initiating trade discussions. This change in their stance suggests they may be in a more urgent position, potentially making them more willing to negotiate and lower their asking price.
The Chicago Bears are in a favorable financial and draft capital position. They have both the money and draft assets to engage in meaningful trade discussions. If the Bears could acquire Chase Young by offering, for example, a 3rd round pick and possibly another late-round selection, it would be a deal worth pursuing, provided they can secure a reasonable contract extension with Young.
