Don't feel bad if you're struggling to keep up. The Chicago Bears have truly been that busy. Just this morning word came out they were requesting interviews with four different coordinators from three different teams. Now a fifth is set to join the fun as Tom Pelissero revealed the organization is hoping to meet with Dallas Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn. An intriguing story given its subplots.
This wouldn't be the first time it's happened. Chicago actually interviewed him seven years ago in 2015 for their head coaching position. He was reportedly a favorite of GM Ryan Pace before the team shifted to John Fox. A decision Pace may have regretted considering Quinn had the Atlanta Falcons in the Super Bowl just one year later. Nobody can dispute the man has had a ton of success over the past decade or so. Including this year for Dallas.
