Just when you thought things couldn't get any crazier, the Chicago Bears are adding to what has already been an incredibly painful week filled with controversies and now bad luck. According to ABC7 Chicago, the Bears had more than $100,000 worth of equipment stolen late on Wednesday evening.
"The Chicago Bears are trying to track down equipment that was stolen earlier this week at Soldier Field. A Soldier Field manager said someone stole equipment, including gators and lawn mowers, from a parking structure at the NFL stadium."
The report states that the thieves carried out the crime overnight. They removed a security fence to take the equipment from the garage. It's anticipated that the stolen items will be recovered eventually, but it's nonetheless been a chaotic week. The franchise is facing numerous challenges, despite Ryan Poles attempting to reassure everyone with a sudden press conference earlier in the week. However, the situation still feels uncertain, and the franchise really just needs to win to truly regain its footing.
