By now Minnesota Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr has gained two kinds of stardom. He's a Pro Bowler on one of the top defenses in the NFL, and like Shea McClellin he has the honor of breaking the collarbone of Aaron Rodgers. It appears the two-time MVP is done for the season and for those who saw what happened they know he wasn't happy about it.
Most remember the sequence. Rodgers left the pocket out to his right. Barr gave chase and right after the QB released a pass tackled him to the ground. Barr landed with all his weight on the upper half of Rodgers body and Rodgers landed on his right shoulder. That was the same exact way he'd suffered his collar bone injury four years ago against the Bears.
Rodgers knew he was hurt immediately and began walking off to the sideline. However, shortly before reaching it he was seen turning back and yelling at Barr. People thought he was just upset he got away with a dirty play. Turns Rodgers may have had a reason to be hot.
