Chicago Bears Moving Closer To Announcing Final Location For Their New Stadium

The Bears have waited over 100 years to finally own their stadium. Breaking news overnight indicates that a publicly owned venue will likely be on the Chicago lakefront. In a stunning move, team President Kevin Warren broke the news in a recent statement that indicates a final break from the team's commitment to build a stadium and entertainment complex at the former site of Arlington Park Race Track. This is a major shift away from the private stadium plans long coveted by Bears ownership.

"(The bears) will contribute over $2 Billion to build a stadium and improve open spaces for all families and fans and the general public in the city of chicago."
