Things haven't gone smoothly for Chicago Bears GM Ryan Poles and head coach Matt Eberflus thus far this off-season. At least not when it comes to players behaving themselves. It started with Byron Pringle getting arrested for doing donuts in the street with his young son in the backseat. Then linebacker Matthew Adams got in trouble with police for possession of a loaded firearm without a state license. Both incidents weren't great but also not major.
That might've changed on Independence Day. According to KXII, wide receiver David Moore was arrested in Gainesville, Texas on drug and weapon charges. Moore signed a one-year deal with the Bears earlier this off-season after a long stint with the Seattle Seahawks. Details aren't yet known but this is not the sort of thing that is likely to improve his chances of making the teams.
