Cole Kmet Calls Out Green Bay For Cheating

The Chicago Bears suffered another heartbreaking loss last week to their rival, the Green Bay Packers. The game ended with a potential game-winning field goal attempt by the Bears, which was blocked. However, controversy arose after many pointed out that the Packers appeared to commit a penalty during the play. Specifically, they hit Bears long snapper Scott Daly while his head was down after the snap, a clear penalty in the NFL rulebook.

"I thought they hit Scott (Daly) pretty blatantly there on that play which you cannot do. We will see what the league comes back with and what they say."

Regardless of which side you're on regarding the Bears vs. Packers' last play of the game, it's rare to see such calls made at the end of a game. Referees usually hesitate to call penalties like these in those final moments. Similar to pass interference calls on Hail Mary passes. You just aren't getting that call. However, it's clear that in this instance, the Packers benefited from the refs' restraint. That's often how it goes in the NFL. Sometimes, luck plays a big role in games, and unfortunately for the Bears, they've found themselves on the losing side of most outcomes this season.
