Allen Robinson has a reputation for being a guy who is pure class and a standup human being. The evidence of this is significant. At the same time, the wide receiver comes across a bit differently on social media. He proved that last week when he took down all Bears-related mentions on Twitter and Instagram in protest over his stalling contract talks.
This led to conversations with GM Ryan Pace and head coach Matt Nagy. It seems the two sides were able to work things out and talks have resumed with the Bears upping their offer. Expectations are a deal should get worked out at some point. However, it seems Robinson's shenanigans on social media haven't stopped.
The Bears just finished pulling out their second win of the season against New York. A game the receiver probably wants to forget after just three catches and seeing another taken away from him by cornerback James Bradberry for an interception.
Where it gets interesting is after the game a fan on Twitter defended Robinson against any blame for either interception Mitch Trubisky threw. He put the blame more on the quarterback for badly thrown balls. Robinson made it interesting by liking the tweet.
