Jordan Howard is gone. His three-year run with the Chicago Bears a memory that grows further distance with each passing day. The trade that led to this is complete. The team gets a 6th round pick in 2020 that could become a 5th round pick if certain conditions are met. The Philadelphia Eagles get Howard who is on the last year of his rookie contract.
All that was left was to hear from the man himself. Howard expressed his deep gratitude during a farewell on his social media accounts, thanking Chicago for supporting him throughout his successful run with the Bears. However, the man himself didn't get in front of the cameras until his official introduction to the Philadelphia press on April 1st.
True to form, Howard was his useful self. He was calm, patient, and humble while answering questions. It turns out that this trade had basically been in place for about a month. The two teams just waited on announcing it until all the details were worked out. When asked about his feelings for his former team, it was clear Howard held no ill-will.
