September 1st, 2018 should go down as one of the greatest days in Chicago sports history.
Ryan Pace, a candidate for Executive of the Year, pulled off the trade for Khalil Mack from the Oakland Raiders for what now seems like pennies.
This move proved to Bears fans that the team was serious about competing this year and adding Mack has been a huge reason why they're in the postseason for the first time since 2010. The fanbase has welcomed Mack with open arms and it's showed as he has one of the top selling jerseys of the 2018-2019 season.
Many of these jerseys will be present at Soldier Field this weekend as the Bears prepare to take on the Philadelphia Eagles. Kickoff is at 4:40pm EST.
