In this instance, Detroit Lions Head Coach Dan Campbell's response when asked about Justin Fields spoke volumes.

Justin Fields is a constant headache for opposing teams
Other coaches before Dan Campbell have acknowledged Justin Fields play-making ability and athleticism. Last year, Miami Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniels, who was never considered for the Bears coaching position, expressed that Fields running and playmaking abilities were very challenging. During the Bears vs. Dolphins game last year, there was even a lighthearted moment captured on camera where McDaniels jokingly told Fields to "stop." as Fields ran for another first down.
Dan Campbell, despite facing dark times in the early days of his coaching tenure in Detroit, has proven himself as a good coach. With an impressive 8-2 record, the Lions are now legitimate contenders in the NFC. Campbell's belief in Justin Fields should hold value. In my column on Sunday after the game, I emphasized that Fields was not the problem. Dan Campbell also seems to agree with that view.
