Mitch Trubisky is fast developing a strong connection with Chicago Bears fans as his play continues to ascend to higher levels. The numbers of #10 jerseys in the crowd seem to increase with each passing week. Could they one day surpass the #6 established by Jay Cutler? Time will tell. However, it seems the expectations run both ways.
Bears fans have set a fairly high bar for Trubisky. They've lived with average to bad quarterback play for decades. Cutler gave them their first brief taste of what above average looks like in Chicago. Now they want more. As it turns out? The feeling runs both ways. Trubisky, who grew up a Bears fan himself thanks to Walter Payton, has certain demands he places on people in the stands.
Or at least that's how he made it seem. The 24-year old prepares to take on the Buffalo Bills this Sunday and was asked about the notorious reputation of their fans, infamous known as Bills Mafia (#BillsMafia). Trubisky couldn't help but poke a little fun at Bears fans for not being as crazed as their cousins out east.
