The Chicago Bears know it's the playoffs. This is where legends are born or die. A place the franchise hasn't been for almost a decade. It's a momentous day for them, especially considering they get to open things up against the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles. This sort of occasion demands the very best in efforts to get fans excited, and as he's done all year, Mitch Trubisky delivered.
The young quarterback has been so good at times in 2018, not just with his play on the field but his leadership and emotional fire off it. He's made it clear that while everybody is excited about what this team is building, they can't look at this game as a testament to legacies. This is their next job, and it's time to go back to work.

There's no denying the task at hand. Philadelphia is a good football team that's playing with a lot of confidence right now. They think they can handle the Bears similar to how they did a year ago. So much depends on how Trubisky responds in what is easily the biggest game of his football career.
Previous instances haven't offered a ton of optimism, but there's no denying he continues to improve. Will this be a statement game for him and his team? Bears fans certainly hope so.
