One thing to keep in mind about the ongoing discussions around the Chicago Bears' plans for the #1 pick is that it's still early. Never mind the fact that free agency hasn't even happened yet. Several teams haven't even found new head coaches. Those decisions could go a long way in determining how organizations approach their quarterback questions. Until more clarity arrives, the Bears must sit tight and wait it out. Perhaps there is no bigger wild card on the board than Sean Payton.

The future Hall of Fame head coach is widely viewed as the best option available this cycle. Several teams have expressed interest in him. Multiple interviews are set up.
