The Chicago Bears had a chance to change the narrative on their organization from one of middling disappointment to sustained success in 2019. They failed. Instead they finished 8-8, squandered a prime opportunity with a top 5 defense and enter 2020 with loads of questions about their immediate future. Do they have a quarterback? How much work does the rest of the offense need? Can they keep the defense together?
These are all real problems. Ones that GM Ryan Pace will have to work hard to solve in the next few months. It's not impossible. There are plenty of creative ways to do it. A little luck might be needed but it's doable. That said, it appears the oddsmakers in Las Vegas aren't exactly feeling the optimism for this team. BetOnline.ag delivered there likely win totals for next season. Suffice to say the Bears didn't move up.
In fact, they didn't move at all.

Chicago Bears 2020 is far from being written yet
The truth is these odds are way too premature. Setting them barely a month after the season ended was bound to achieve those results. Chicago hasn't had a chance to make any adjustments this offseason. Try to improve the roster. Opinions can change a lot in just a few months. So the smart thing for bettors would be to wait until the summer when Pace has done most of his major refurbishing of the roster. Then make an educated assessment on what the results will likely be next season.
