The offseason for GM Ryan Poles already got off to a bad start when Larry Ogunjob failed his physical last month. Now it somehow is getting worse as police arrested wide receiver Byron Pringle down in Florida. According to TMZ, it stemmed from him doing donuts in his sports car on a local street with his child in the back seat. All on a suspended driver's license. Not a great look for somebody that has done a good job staying out of trouble during his NFL career.
"Chicago Bears WR Byron Pringle was arrested Saturday in Florida after police say they busted him doing donuts in his sports car on a suspended license, with a child in the car, TMZ Sports has learned. And, cops say Pringle was uncooperative ... becoming "verbally confrontational" with them during the stop."The good news is nobody was hurt in the incident. This isn't the type of situation similar to domestic violence or drug-related issues. It would be a considerable shock if Pringle were suspended for this unless his confrontation with the officers on the scene turned ugly. Details remain forthcoming. That doesn't make the incident any less irresponsible. The receiver is 28-years old. He has a history of off-the-field issues dating back to his time in college. He should know better by now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5PG7csqAgD8&t=1s&ab_channel=ChicagoBears
