Reports Suggest Devin Hester To Be Inducted Into Hall Of Fame

The class of 2024 Pro Football Hall of Fame will be revealed during the "NFL Honors" show airing on Thursday, February 8, just three days ahead of Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas. Among the 15 finalists is Devin Hester, Chicago Bears legend known for his elite skills as a returner.

Two reliable sources have informed me that Devin Hester will be inducted into the Hall of Fame this Thursday. David Kaplan from ESPN 1000 echoed this on the latest episode of the BFR Podcast, expressing his belief that Hester will indeed receive the honor this year.

“Let me promise you this, he is getting in on Thursday.”

Devin Hester should have been a First Ballot Hall of Famer.

If Hester is inducted this year, it's a victory for both the NFL and, naturally, Hester himself. Personally, I believe he should have been a first-ballot Hall of Famer. He remains the greatest returner in NFL history, and given the recent changes to kickoff rules, it's doubtful we'll witness another player of Devin Hester's caliber ever again.
