The offseason hasn't exactly been kind to Roquan Smith thus far. The promising young linebacker already endured surgery to repair a torn pectoral suffered during the regular season. Now it appears his home life took a hit as well. A source close to Sports Mockery revealed that Smith's silver BMW was stolen from a valet parking garage in district 018 on Lake Shore Drive. The Lake Point Tower Condo is 505 N LSD. Chicago police scanners have since revealed this to be true. A tweet below confirms.
Reportedly a second car was at the scene tailing Smith's car after it was swiped. More details are forthcoming as the situation develops. Stay tuned.
This isn't the first issue Smith has had with that car. Shortly after the season ended, the linebacker crashed it on his way into Halas Hall. The vehicle sustained considerable damage. Luckily Smith wasn't hurt.
