Tarik Cohen is a man of the people. This much has been proven over the years with his willingness to mingle with fans at every opportunity. He's just that sort of personality and it's why he became a fast favorite among Chicago Bears fans. Sure his ridiculous highlights on the field play a big part in it, but it's hard not to love the guy. Not only is his sense of humor off the charts. He's also known for his remarkable generosity.
That was on display recently when Cohen was spotted entering a bar and restaurant. There he found a table full of Bears fans including a gentleman who revealed he'd drafted the running back in the 1st round of his fantasy league. Something most "experts" would never consider since Cohen isn't a traditional type of back. As a reward for such faith, the Bears ambassador bestowed free tickets on the man.
Undoubtedly making his day in the process.
Tarik Cohen just continues to be awesome
This is just more proof that Cohen is the man. One can only hope that he gets his rewards next year when his contract becomes a topic of discussion. It may prove difficult for the Bears to find the money. Then again Ryan Pace has never lacked creativity. Cohen is certainly worth it and his value to both the offense and special teams can't be understated. Chicago just wouldn't be the same if he were somehow to leave.
One can only hope he's around to do stuff like this for years to come.
