The Chicago Bears Have Released Their Full Training Camp Schedule

The final Chicago Bears minicamp practice concluded on Thursday. It involved light work with a few interesting developments. The defense again owned the 11-on-11 team period, holding the offense out of the end zone. However, Caleb Williams got his shots in with some excellent throws throughout the practice. That is the final full team practice for the early summer. Now, players have off until July 26th, when the first practice of training camp begins. What people don't know is the entire schedule.

That finally changed shortly after the last minicamp. The Bears will hold nine public practices between July 26th and August 15th. Easily the most intriguing part of the schedule is that final practice. That is the day the Bears will host the Cincinnati Bengals for a joint session, meaning fans will get to see Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase, and the rest of that talented team in action. The Hall of Fame game is on August 1st, with the next two coming at noon on the 10th and 17th.

Williams is obviously the focal point. He's the #1 overall pick in the draft and one of the most highly-touted prospects in years. People will be anxious to see him perform. There is also the trio of wide receivers D.J. Moore, Keenan Allen, and Rome Odunze, who should make plenty of highlight catches. Also, it appears a competition is brewing along the interior of the offensive line, not just at center but also at right guard. Nate Davis continues to miss practice. It doesn't sound like his job is safe.

Defensively, they have to determine who their second pass rusher will be opposite Montez Sweat. Eric Washington takes over as the new defensive coordinator. Kevin Byard replaces Eddie Jackson at safety. There is no shortage of storylines to follow. All of this will happen while extra camera teams scatter around the practice fields. Those will be from NFL Films, covering the Bears for their reality series "Hard Knocks." Fans will have to work hard keeping up.
