Is there anything more creative and pure than the mind of a child? No. No there is not. A perfect example is young Andy Wamsley. He's an elementary school student who recently had to write a poem for class. As with most things, he had to find his inspiration. Where most would look to friends, family or their favorite foods or hobbies? Andy chose Khalil Mack.
That's right. The superstar pass rusher of the Chicago Bears was the basis for the young man's open and we have to say. It's better than any other Mack poem out there. It's short, sharp, and gets the point across. Plenty of truth in every word written. His father Jamie, who is a Bears fans since 1973 was so proud he just had to share it online.
Sure enough, the tweet caught the attention of Mack himself who appeared to be just tickled by the child's work.
This is a welcome sign that the future of Bears fandom is in great hands. It will be interesting to see the next great creative piece young Andy cooks up. Maybe Mack can give him some extra inspiration with more devastation to quarterbacks this coming season. No doubt his team will make every effort to help in that endeavor.
Perhaps Andy can write a short story next time.
