While there have been plenty of great offensive linemen throughout Chicago Bears history, none of them were quite like Olin Kreutz. First and foremost the guy was an outstanding player. A six-time Pro Bowler, he anchored the middle of some great Bears lines during the 2000s. What set him apart though was his personality. Kreutz was a throwback. A genuine tough guy and enforcer who took no junk from anybody.
Fans saw glimpses of it at times. He'd start fights on the field or retaliate against opponents for being too rough with teammates. Or he'd be seen in locker room clips getting in guy's faces for not playing hard enough. He was the embodiment of attitude. So just in case people forgot this, the man himself posted a video as a reminder.
It starts out innocently enough with offensive linemen doing drills. Wait until the end though because it perfectly encapsulates Kreutz in a nutshell.

Yeah, that about sums it up. The video was posted as a semi-tribute to former offensive line coach Bob Wylie who was with the Bears from 1999 to 2003. Apparently, he conducted unique drills such as this and Kreutz wasn't a big fan of them. That little clip was a minor rebellion on his part.
Either way, it's hilarious and a firm reminder that Chicago misses Kreutz more than ever. This team desperately needs another character like him. Sundays were a lot more fun when he was around. Still, here's hoping he has more hidden gems coming up.
