Watching the NFL is never boring. Both because the game of football is entertaining but also because it's incredibly unpredictable. No matter how many games fans watch each week, it seems like something crazy and unexpected happens. With the Chicago Bears not playing on Sunday, fans had a chance to catch other games on the schedule. No doubt they caught the barn burner that happened between the Minnesota Vikings and Baltimore Ravens. If they were paying attention, then wide receiver Justin Jefferson stood out. For a number of reasons.
First of all, he had a solid game, catching three passes for 69 yards and a touchdown. However, the highlight of the day came late in the 1st quarter. On 3rd and 1 from their own 15, Dalvin Cook took a handoff and broke into the open field. As the Ravens defense tried to corral him, cameras spotted Jefferson screaming into the frame to make a block for his teammate. That in itself isn't anything big. No, it was the way Jefferson went in that has people baffled and laughing in equal measure.
