Scottie Pippen Calls Out Richard Jefferson After Giannis Comments

Here's something I didn't expect to see today. Scottie Pippen called out Richard Jefferson on twitter for his comments on Giannis Antetokounmpo. Here's Richard Jefferson's original tweet.

After watching the first two games of the Heat vs Bucks series it does appear that Giannis has lost some fire. Jefferson was simply calling Giannis out in a way that not many people have. Whether his comparison is true or not is a questionable call. However, Scottie Pippen had something to say about Jefferson comparing Giannis to himself.

Scottie is right, he never even earned league MVP honors and Giannis is likely to get it again this year. The best part of this response is Pippen adding who were you as a player? He makes a great point, who is Jefferson to be calling out Giannis, and if we are making comparisons who would Jefferson consider himself as? Well, Jefferson answered that question in yet another reply.

Looks like Jefferson knows his place after getting called out by Scottie. Bulls fans know the name Scott Burrell after his one season with the team and especially if you watched The Last Dance. Scottie Pippen is clearly not here for your comparisons. At least at the end of the day, it looks like Jefferson took it in good fun. Jefferson may think twice before tweeting another Pippen comparison from now on.
