It's easy to imagine Kevin Durant requesting a trade from Brooklyn, especially since he already asked for one in the summer of 2022.

The Bulls would be left with DeMar DeRozan, Alex Caruso, and Kevin Durant as their 'big three' while Lonzo Ball continues rehab. Durant is arguably the best player in the NBA, but pairing him next to the best midrange player in the NBA, DeMar DeRozan, could be a dynamic duo in the east. At the very least, the Bulls would move up a tier from a potential play-in tournament team to an actual playoff threat in the east.
