This was pretty hilarious by Reds left-handed reliever Amir Garrett, who came in to face Kyle Schwarber and struck him out to end the ninth inning of Wednesday night's game at Wrigley Field.
After striking out, Schwarber was mad about Garrett celebrating on the mound and had some words for the pitcher. Garrett, who was involved in a big brawl with the Pirates back in July, mocked Schwarber, running off the field and raising his hands, surrendering after noticing that Schwarber was yelling at him to get back in the dugout.
Schwarber was obviously frustrated, but it was still extremely hypocritical of him to get mad over a pitcher celebrating when he himself pimps nearly all of his home runs.
At least he admitted he was wrong in reacting the way he did.
More importantly, though, the Cubs failed to take advantage of the Brewers and Nationals losing on Wednesday and they also lost a game in the standings to the Cardinals after their 3-2 defeat against the Reds last night.
