So, that means the Cubs will have three different hitting coaches in three straight years. The Cubs finished ninth in runs scored, fourth in OBP, 13th in slugging and 22nd in home runs in MLB this past season. Not only did the power numbers go way down in 2018, but several of the young players took a step backward in development.
