Cubs Give President Obama Some Insanely Cool Gifts During Their Visit

The Chicago Cubs didn't arrive at the White House empty handed it appears. During their historic trip to Washington D.C. earlier today, the Cubs got a chance to see a good portion of the White House as well as meet the current resident, Barack Obama. After snapping a few pictures at the Presidential podium, posing with their significant others, and even applying a Snapchat filter to the bust of Abraham Lincoln (I'm looking at you Addison Russell) the Cubs were ready for their ceremony with the President of the United States. As most great house guests would do, the Cubs brought the President a symbolic "thank you" package for the hospitality both he and the first lady showed. Anthony Rizzo presented President Obama with the customary white and blue pinstriped "Obama 44" jersey but then threw in an extra gray "Obama 44" road jersey. https://twitter.com/Cubs/status/821080583908524032 In addition to the jerseys, Obama was given the number 44 tile from the historic Wrigley Field scoreboard, an autographed W flag, and lifetime tickets to Wrigley Field. It's ironic it was a gift from a player that is no longer a Cub, but Dexter Fowler did not let that hinder him from giving a gift that is so fitting for a guy like Fowler.
