Two Cubs fans had the idea of going to a spring training game this year and ask David Bote to help them reveal the gender of their baby and the Cubs infielder was happy to be part of the special moment. They got the idea after seeing Jason Kipnis do it for another couple in 2019.
But why David Bote specifically? Well, the soon-to-be-mother apparently called Bote's grand slam against the Nationals in 2018, so who better than to deliver the news with another big swing.
