Here's Who The Cubs Are Trading For Cole Hamels

The Chicago Cubs have traded for Texas Rangers starting pitcher Cole Hamels. You can read more about him here and what you should expect out of him the rest of this season on the North Side. Anyway, we now know who is heading over to the Rangers. It's right-handed pitcher Rollie Lacy and a player to be named later.

Lacy, 23, was drafted by the Cubs in 2017 in the 17th round out of Creighton. He pitched at South Bend and Myrtle Beach this season, posting a 2.45 ERA in 29 games that included 13 starts. After getting promoted to Myrtle Beach, Lacy allowed six earned runs in 9.1 innings over two starts this month.
