The Cubs offense looked dead on Opening Day against Mike Minor, but then Javier Baez destroyed a curveball for the first home run of the season.
That cut the lead down to 2-1 and then Baez greeted his former teammate Jesse Chavez, by drilling an opposite-field home run on the very first pitch he saw.
