Joe Maddon doesn't care much about the unwritten rules of baseball, but the
Chicago Cubs manager does admit that on several occasions he'll get pissed off in the dugout and will start talking trash to the opposing team's players.
During his weekly interview on The Spiegel And Parkins Show on 670 The Score, Maddon was asked about the confrontation Cleveland Indians pitcher Trevor Bauer had with
Chicago White Sox outfielder Avisail Garcia on Monday. In case you missed the story, here's how Bauer described what happened during a plate appearance in Monday's game.
Maddon laughed after listening to the clip and went over other ridiculous examples of when players get upset about the dumbest things in games. Then, co-host Danny Parkins asked Maddon who the biggest trash talkers were during his playing days, but Maddon brought up how most of the talk came via razzing from the dugout.
"I've done it on several occasions. I've yelled at third basemen. you know, you get pissed and you say something once in awhile."

Matt Spiegel asked for a specific example of what Maddon yells at other players and the manager's answer did not disappoint.
Here's the audio from that part of Maddon's interview.
Bet Spiegel and Parkins weren't expecting that answer. You can listen to the entire interview
