Nick Castellanos hit his first home run with the Cubs earlier this week against the A's and then he hit two last night against the Reds. Then, the righty smashed his fourth home run with the Cubs on Friday in the first inning off Trevor Bauer.
That's a nine-game hitting streak since being traded to the Cubs. Castellanos now has four home runs, which is two more than Daniel Descalso hit all season with the Cubs before he was finally vanished to the injured list.
Castellanos also has six doubles in his first nine games as a Cub.
Castellanos is 15-for-34 with the Cubs.
What an unbelievable start with the Cubs for Castellanos.
