Nick Castellanos has been on fire since the Tigers traded him to the Cubs at the deadline and there are no signs of that changing anytime soon. Last night against the Giants he went 3-for-5, which included his seventh home run with the Cubs.
He now has 27 hits in 18 games since the trade, slashing .365/.405/.743, in 79 plate appearances.
Castellanos has made an immediate impact in the Cubs offense and he's even topping Joe Maddon with his quotes.
