Seiya Suzuki has been crushing the ball since Opening Day against the Texas Rangers and well he's been killing the ball since spring training...and actually Suzuki hasn't stopped doing that since last August. In his first at-bat against the Colorado Rockies on Tuesday night, Suzuki crushed the hardest hit ball of his MLB career, murdering a Kyle Freeland sinker to center field that had a 115mph exit velocity for the right-fielder's first homer of the season.

According to the Statcast data, Seiya Suzuki has put 17 balls in play this season, 11 have been at 95 mph or higher. His first-inning homer tonight was rocketed at 115 mph, the hardest hit ball of his MLB career.
The results haven't matched Suzuki's hard contact through the first four games of the season, as he entered Tuesday night's game 4-for-18, at the plate, but it was only a matter of time before one of these hard-hit balls was going to leave the park.
The Cubs are counting on Suzuki to have a big season and so far fans have to love that he continues to make consistent hard contact at the plate.
