The Cubs went 16-12 in September, but that wasn't good enough to outlast the Brewers in the division. Milwaukee finished the month on a seven-game winning streak to cap off a 19-7 September to catch the Cubs in the division and force a tie breaker.
On Sunday, the Brewers swept the Tigers, beating them 11-0, so obviously they were feeling themselves and boy do I mean really feeling themselves.
After the win, Jesus Aguilar was interviewed on the field and had this message for the Cubs.
As always, I have absolutely zero problems with shit talking. It is the best. Also, it creates opportunities to really troll the Brewers if they're the ones who end up having problems against the Cubs. The tie breaker at Wrigley Field will start at 12:05 p.m. Jose Quintana vs. Jhoulys Chacin on ESPN.
