That was after the Cubs scored SEVEN RUNS in the eighth inning to take a 14-5 lead over the Brewers Saturday night. Joe Maddon put in Randy Rosario and what does the lefty do? He walks two batters and then gives up a three-run bomb to Eric Thames. Before the Cubs offense broke it open, the two new relievers who replaced Mike Montgomery and Carl Edwards Jr. weren't that good either. Kyle Ryan gave up a single and a walk and then Allen Webster gave up a three-run homer to Ryan Braun. That made it 7-5 before the Cubs scored seven more runs. No matter who Maddon puts in from the bullpen so far this season that pitcher has been bad. Just an unbelievable stretch of awfulness from the bullpen.
