In spring training the Chicago Cubs were trying to make Jon Lester bounce passes over to first base to cure his yips. While it certainly doesn't look pretty, Lester's made it work in the regular season, nailing Ryan Braun at third base last week and getting another out against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday night with a bounce pass. With Anthony Rizzo on the 10-day disabled list with back tightness, Victor Caratini is at first tonight and he handled the bouncer well.
