If you didn't already know, Cubs star Javier Báez is actually left-handed and has hit some home runs batting lefty during batting practice. Well, during Thursday's blowout win for the Cubs, Báez came up with two outs and a runner at first base and batted left-handed against Reds catcher Kyle Farmer who was pitching.
And of course Báez didn't get cheated, as Farmer tossed one maybe 50mph.
No one from the Reds got mad, everyone had a laugh. That was fun and that's how you keep people's attention in the ninth inning of a blowout game.
