In case you didn't know, Ian Happ, Nico Hoerner, Dakota Mekkes and Zack Short all co-host a podcast, The Compound, and during their latest episode Short spilled the beans on one particular superstition that a teammate had in the 2017 season.
I mean, baseball players are probably the most superstitious athletes, but just how bad do you want to get out of a slump? Bad enough that you'd stick your dick in piping hot coffee and then drink it?
Apparently one Cubs prospect did exactly that a few years ago.
Soooo, if you were wondering which Cubs prospect it was, Mekkes dropped a big hint that at least narrows down the minor league team. He says that the team didn't win a championship that year because of a hurricane shortened season.
Hmmmmmmm...
So yeah, it was someone on the 2017 Myrtle Beach Pelicans.

My money is on Trent Giambrone. Seems like a dude who likes to make others laugh, like the time he trolled everyone in 2018, when he was pulled early from a game and then started to hug teammates a few days before the trade deadline. Turns out he just had a tight hamstring and was messing with everyone.
