Yu Darvish looked great once again in his second spring training start, but unfortunately Sunday's game against the White Sox wasn't televised. As a matter of fact, neither of Darvish's first two starts this spring training have been on TV, so unless you've been in attendance down in Arizona all fans have been going on is Darvish's own words and beat writers giving their perspective.
Well, luckily for Cubs fans, Darvish shared some video of his start on Sunday and he wasn't lying when he said he's feeling the best in his career.
Darvish struck out three in two innings and just look at the movement on his pitches.
Keep it up, Yu!
I think a big portion of Cubs fans just view his 2018 season as a guy who lost it and isn't good anymore. Those fans are going to be in for a big surprise in 2019. Again, it's pretty clear now. Darvish simply wasn't healthy last year and now he's ready to go.
I can't wait for his comeback season with the Cubs.

Going to an arb hearing isn't always the worst thing to happen, but it certainly can cause some nasty feelings, especially coming from the player. Luckily, the Chicago Cubs have avoided arbitration with Justin Steele as the two sides have agreed on a new deal. Thursday marks the deadline for...
This popped up on the radar a few days ago, but I honestly didn't pay much attention to it because it seemed like a throwaway comment from Jon Heyman. The national MLB insider said the Cubs had checked in on free agent Cody Bellinger and that was the extent of the report, so automatically you're...
Last offseason the Chicago Cubs absolutely needed to acquire a top hitter and they got Kyle Tucker from the Houston Astros. Now, heading into the 2026 season Jed Hoyer's top priority was to upgrade the rotation and he's delivered by trading for 27-year-old pitcher Edward Cabrera from the Miami...
