All right, no it wasn't a concourse full of piss-filled beer cups like the Chicago Cubs had on Opening Day at Wrigley Field in 2015, but the White Sox certainly wish Monday had played out differently. There are fans who believe the only reason the White Sox didn't cancel the game earlier was to get as much money as they could from beer and food sales. Fans were fighting in the stands and well everyone knows the product on the field isn't going to be good. So, how was Opening Day even worse for the White Sox? Fans wanted to kill themselves after listening to the music played during player introductions.
No way it can be that bad right? Wrong. Apparently the start of the following song was put on a loop and fans were ready to blow their brains out. Do the White Sox want fewer people showing up to Guaranteed Rate Field because if they do, I guess this works.
