White Sox Bring In Dave Duncan As Organizational Pitching Consultant

Hidden behind the fiasco of today's NBA trade deadline, the Chicago White Sox have brought in a huge addition to their coaching staff in hiring Dave Duncan. Duncan is the longest tenured pitching coach in MLB history (32 years). He has already been on the White Sox staff once (1983-1986), as well as the Indians, Mariners, A's, and most recently, the Cardinals. Duncan should prove to be a great asset for the young White Sox arms in the organization. He has more experience than Don Cooper, and should be able to help him get the most out of every pitcher on the team.

Hiring Duncan isn't necessarily a sexy move for the South Side, but with both he and Cooper working with the young White Sox pitching prospects in just a few days, it's safe to say they are in great hands moving forward.
