The revolving door in the White Sox bullpen is still spinning and the latest call up is a somewhat familiar face in right-hander Thyago Vieira. Following Tuesday night's 5-1 loss to the Astros, the White Sox sent Jose Ruiz to Triple-A and on Wednesday the team officially brought back Vieira.

Vieira, 25, pitched in 16 games for the White Sox last year and had one appearance earlier this season, throwing two shutout innings against the Orioles.
The Brazilian right-hander has been much better at Triple-A this season, after recording a 5.06 ERA in 36 games in Charlotte in 2018. Vieira struggled in his first stint in the majors last year too with the White Sox, posting a 7.13 ERA in 17.2 innings.
Despite the better ERA in 13 relief appearances, Vieira is allowing a lot of base runners. In 16.1 innings he's surrendered 15 hits and 8 walks, which amounts to a 1.41 WHIP.
The White Sox still have two more games left in Houston and then they'll start a three-game series against the division-leading Twins.
