If they can beat a team that was as talented as Illinois, then they have the ability to compete with any team in the country. As mentioned previously, a small school like Loyola would have to overcome a MASSIVE talent disadvantage against a team like Gonzaga or Baylor. Illinois was clearly the more talented team in their matchup, and would win that game 80-85 times if they played 100, but things like this happen for some reasons that are really unexplainable.
