I don't get it.
We're talking about companies that make millions and millions of dollars every year with teams made up of several people in charge of making new designs. Just like the dumbass white and black players weekend uniforms from 2019, I have no clue how these New Era hats for spring training were given the thumbs up. And again, we're talking about a bunch of people looking at these and saying, yeah, let's go with that.
These are brutal, especially the Cubs and White Sox ones.
And this is the perfect comment on what they probably remind you of. I'd say this fits in more for the Cubs hat.

Please, never try this design ever again. You can see all the designs for the 30 MLB teams here. They don't all look ugly. I kinda like the Astros one, but this just wasn't it for the Cubs and White Sox.
