Aaron Rodgers has never been shy about trolling the Chicago Bears at every opportunity. He's done it several times over his career, embracing the rivalry with the Green Bay Packers like few others. No doubt he remembers the bitter loss last year at Soldier Field which cost his team a shot at the playoffs. Revenge is on his mind and what better way to announce his intentions than sending a message to Bears head coach Matt Nagy?
His moment came during a charity golf tournament over the summer. Nagy was getting ready to head out onto the course and began walking. All of sudden he hit something and nearly fell forward before catching himself. He soon realized that somebody had stuck out their knee to intentionally trip him. He looked down to see Rodgers with a large grin on his face, chuckling. It was at that point Nagy knew September 5th was going to be a fun night.

The timing of this is rather perfect. Nothing makes a rivalry game better than some nice taunting between the two sides. Rodgers tripping up the head coach of his opponent certainly falls into that category. He wanted to send a message and it most definitely was received. Nagy is a competitive guy. Though the move was meant in good fun, it was also one he didn't forget. Green Bay is coming for the crown and it's his job to ensure the Bears keep it.
This only means that opening night on September 5th can't get here fast enough. Anticipation for this game is off the charts. It's the 100th anniversary. The longest-running rivarly in the sport. Chicago on Thursday Night Football. It doesn't get much better than this. Rodgers against that Bears defense. Nagy and his creative offense. Everything is there for a barnburner to be expected.
