There is one thing
Chicago Bears fans enjoy almost as much as their team winning games. It is watching the Green Bay Packers lose. Never is it more delicious than when they do so in the playoffs. Again. For all the talk about that franchise being a model for NFL teams, the reality is they've developed a reputation for choking in big games going back an entire decade now. Perhaps the biggest of them all came on Wild Card Weekend when Robbie Gould sent them home for the year on a frigid night at Lambeau Field.
Nobody in their right minds gave the San Francisco 49ers a chance in that game. The Packer had already beaten them earlier in the year. They were at home. It was cold and icy, and the 49ers were a west coast team used to warm weather. Not to mention the quarterback matchup. Aaron Rodgers vs. Jimmy Garoppolo. This was going to be a cakewalk for the Packers.
Except it wasn't.
After a touchdown on the opening drive, San Francisco held Rodgers to just three points the rest of the game. Combined with a pair of special teams gaffes, the game was tied 10-10 late in the 4th quarterback. Garoppolo then executed a drive to drain the clock and set up Robbie Gould for a 45-yard field goal attempt to win it. The former Bear wasn't about to waste such a glorious opportunity, booting it right down the middle. Reactions from the media and fans in attendance were great. Yet the response of fans at home might be even better.

The sheer amount of sadness and rage flowing from so many Packers fans is hard to comprehend. It is also as enjoyable for Bears fans as any game their team played this year. After hearing all the taunts year and year, this is something they have every right to relish.
