There's no question that Mike Singletary is biased when it comes to which team he supports in the NFL. He made his name as a Chicago Bears legend and that will always be where his heart is. Still, his reputation for football intelligence and honesty is something of value that people love to learn from. That's why it was interesting to hear his opinion regarding this new Bears team.
TMZ caught up with the former head coach and 10-time Pro Bowler to discuss the topic It first centered on Mitch Trubisky and whether he liked him or not. Singletary said he liked the young passer last year and thinks he'll be a "fine" quarterback. As to his six-TD game, he refused to call it a fluke but did admit a number of those scores came courtesy of some bad coverage mistakes.
As to the chances of the Bears winning the NFC North after starting 3-1? Singletary didn't mince words. He made his stance fairly clear.
